Andre Salmon shares new song ‘I Play Every Nite’

Ecuadorian artist Andre Salmon returns to Repopulate Mars with his next bumping house offering “I Play Every Nite”, featuring FreedomB, K-Mack, Xavier Iturralde and Steven Joint.

When not helming one of his labels – Sagmen or Addiction – Salmon delivers hefty club cuts from his studio and last year alone saw releases dropping on Desert Hearts, Name Dropper, Percomaniacs, Rawthentic and South of Saturn. He now kicks starts the year with a collaborative release on Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars, following on from his bustling 2019.

Featuring fellow Ouch! Records and Guayaquil-based producer Xavier Iturralde, ‘Out Here’ opens with subtle use of sirens, infectious lyrics, bubbling bass and swinging cymbals.

‘I Play Every Nite’ sees Salmon team up with Percomaniacs’ artist K-Mack, creating a pumping cut with tight hats, rhythmic vocal stabs, spatial key lines and utilising crowd samples as risers. Tying everything together, Slightly Sizzled’s Steven Joint and Roush artist FreedomB join Salmon in the studio to deliver ‘Time On’, incorporating layered claps, groovy sub-frequencies, side-chained kicks, rolling snares and saturated vox-loops.
