German electronic trio Schrotthagen hav released their latest single ‘Blaue Blume‘, marking the final track before the drop of their long-awaited debut album Nostalgie und Traurigkeit in August.

Following singles ‘Schattenkinder‘, ‘Alle werden alt‘ and Blütezeit‘, ‘Blaue Blume‘ (‘Blue Flower’) opens another shadowy doorway into Schrotthagen’s immersive soundscape. Devastatingly dark, an acid-infused driving techno bassline works in unison with crushing drums, while cinematic synths fly in like sinister alien forces from a sci-fi movie. After breaking internal records with ‘Schattenkinder‘ – their most pop-driven release to date – they return to their roots: raw, emotional and cinematic Hardtechno, forged in their signature style for all the fans who’ve been there since day one.

The highly anticipated debut album, out on August 15th, has already surpassed 12.1k pre-saves, and new single ‘Blaue Blume‘ sets the tone for what’s to come: a full audiovisual experience blending rave intensity with intimate storytelling. Upon release, look out for a limited special edition bundle featuring a deluxe vinyl set, an original comic book and exclusive collectibles.
