Releasing his highly anticipated album West Berlin on the 13th of April through R.O.T respectortolerate Records, NHOAH the techno-talented musician is breaking new ground with an epic resume of remixes, singles and previous EPs Abstellgleis zu Remixen and 120 Red Skies zu Remixen. Already capturing fans across the globe and attention of publications Resident Advisor, PopMatters, Clash Mag, Data Transmission, Electronic Groove and Radio 6 Music’s Nemone the producer is on a transforming journey of building a respectable catalogue.
Having performed and shared stages with some of the most esteemed musicians such as Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, Bronski Beat, Jayne County and Romy Haag, to name just a few, NHOAH after releasing two albums: Tangowerk was also nominated for German Record Critics’ Award (Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik).
NHOAH produced and engineered for several decades in Germany’s underground electro-scene and became familiar with utilising different types of software and equipment in his production trying to never limit himself and exploring out the box. Often producing on the road and having limited resources, the German muso has become extremely creative in trying to recreate different majestic sounds and waves with his music.
The new album, West-Berlin, is a creative sound that has evolved through time and created completely “from scratch” promises to be NHOAH’s best work yet. West Berlin will be released digitally and on a double-vinyl and is a full-length album that embodies perfectly NHOAH’s influences and as well as his signature style of ‘rich synthesizers, cascading arpeggios, pulsating oscillations and complex patterns.’ The album is reminiscent of Berlin’s club scene and takes one through a journey of exploration of a scene that is dance-crazed, diverse and structured all at once. With deep techno beats that use layered synthesizers and complex patterns – fans of NHOAH are in for a treat.
