It’s time to take advantage of your chance to be able to play Glastonbury festival before it changes its name and disappears forever. While Radiohead is already slated to headline the Pyramid Stage this year, ambitious up-and-comers can also win a chance to perform thanks to the annual talent competition that welcomes new UK and Ireland-based acts.
Along with earning a spot to perform on one of the festival main-stages, the winner will also get a £5,000 Talent Development prize from PRS Foundation. Enter anytime between January 30 and February 6 here.
“New music is at the very heart of what we do here at Glastonbury. The Emerging Talent Competition has become such an important way for us to find the next wave of talent from across the genres, and then help to shine a light on it. I’m really excited to hear this year’s entries,” Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis says.
